In the past, I have watched Food inc, Super Size Me, and Fast Food Nation in the past.
Yesterday, I was still very upset with myself and the scale.
I was only at 183 and it made me angry that I hadn't made a net less of any kind after my methodical diet effort.
Angry....
Deprived...
Hungry...
Frustrated...
I was upset enough to eat an easter candy.
That didn't satisfy me enough...
I decided I would quit and eat whatever I wanted
that's when the binge happened...
I had a grilled cheese sandwich with
butter and 2 slices of cheese. 2.5 slices
of bacon, 3 tablespoons of nutella, and 2
grossilini style breadsticks, 2 cups of milk
with nestle quick (2-4 tablespoons total).
In less than an hour, I tripled my calories
for the day.
Then this morning, I went to weigh myself,
and I had lost 2lbs. It's only 2 lbs but it's a
positive difference.
I am barely drinking my water,
in part tired of flavor
in part because I want filtered water
in part because of my recent bad experiences with stevia & green tea.
So... I need to switch to something naturally
sweet like spearmint which is also good for PCOS symptoms.
I need to defrost portions of food for today,
and I need more vegetables (and an apple).
I'm out of apples.
I will persevere, and even at a -2lbs a week I'll be at
a better place than if I did nothing. I want to feel full and
satisfied. I want weight loss results.
I woke up today,
This is actually day 2 of a very low calorie diet,
Today, I found myself confronting myself,

The waiting area
This morning I gave myself my HCG shot,
after morning bathroom hygiene.
It was about 11am, will be consistent with
this time.
Since On Loading Day 1 and Loading Day 2,
I took the shots at 2pm.
I was hungry this morning.
I took advantage of this, by
drinking close to 90oz of water.
I'm currently working on reaching
120 ounces. My goal for the day is
145ounces of water as it is half
my body weight in ounces.
Today was the first day I went shopping
for HCG diet ingredients. In my rush to
leave, I left my ingredient list at home.
I improvised by looking it up online.
I bought two types of lean white fish,
half a pound of turkey, veggies, and fruit.
For lunch, I was surprised with how delicious
and satisfying it felt to eat organic baby spinach
with sliced turkey (4oz). I added 1 tablespoon of
raspberry dressing from walden farms. The dressing
was extra and not needed after tasting the delicious
simplicity of the previous flavors.
For dinner, I will have fish and red swiss chard.
Red Swiss chard is one of the prettiest vegetables
in my book. The contrast of red and green is pretty.
I will have to located my george foremen grill.
If not, I'll just use a skillet and organic coconut oil
to cook my fish.
I just located an excellent oil free moisturizer.
It's about $5 bucks more than what the clinic
offers and more than amazon price but it is available
at Whole Foods (which I can pick up and use today).
Check out Avalon Organics Rejuvenating Oil Free Moisturizer
http://www.amazon.com/Avalon-Botanicals-Oil-Free-Moisturizer-Rejuvenating/dp/B000PILCJU The ingredient list says it helps
with elastin and collagen. It has white tea too.
Well, it's 5:41pm, and I am going to get ready for the opera;
my first in over 15 years, it is titled Il Postino by Daniel Catan.
Months ago I heard about the HCG diet
probably through an internet search.
I signed up for a mailing list that kept
me updated on homopathic HCG,
so it remained something of interest
and something on the back burner
to look into more seriously at a later
point.
It wasn't until a second round of
consideration did I learn that
there was prescription grade HCG.
It at least opened my mind to that
possibility.
Recently out of curiousity, I looked
up HCG in Houston. I found a local
clinic, saw the website, and emailed
the owner to schedule an appointment
for a free consultation.
Donna, the owner, of Equilibrium clinic
was professional, friendly, and honest
over the phone a trifecta I love to observe
in others, as they are traits i would love to
fully embody.
In person, Donna didn't measure up to
who I thought she would be. I can expand
upon that another time.
The day of my consultation with the doctor,
to receive the prescription I also had my
doubts about the clinic.
All that to say, the HCG diet when followed
well produces amazing results.
I calculated that in 8 months (including breaks
between 3 week rounds of HCG) that I could
reach my goal weight, making HCG diet equivalent
to having weight loss surgery.
For the last two days, I have been "loading"
which is just a nice way of saying gorging
myself beyond feeling full, beyond normal
portions, beyond means to consume high
fat foods.
With HCG diet, there is three types of fat
(1) abnormal
(2) quick energy
(3) structural fat.
During the loading days, the quick energy
fat needs to be fully stocked, as the body
taps into the abnormal fat it may periodically
grab from quick energy.
Day 1
Piola for a pizza carbonara
Al Pastor Tacos
Sweet and Sour Chicken
Reese Pieces
Peanuts
Day 2
Fried Eggs
Loads of Butter
4-6 Stripes of Bacon
Bread
Fajitas
Sausage
Pupusas
Chick Fil A
Cupcakes
Marshmallows
Donuts
My stomach hurt like heck,
I didn't know if it was food
poisoning,gas, bloating,
or my body reacting to the
sheer gluttony of the last
two days.
If I was zealous in this aspect
it is because I was warned in
the directions of the diet about
the importance of eating alot
during these loadings days,
to succeed on the diet and not
feel hunger.
It definitely seems counter
intuitive to gorge on carbs
and fats before embarking
on healthy diet of fish, veggies
and fruit.
The HCG diet costs hundreds
of dollars per round with a doctor
and with prescription.
I am shopping around:
(1) researching HCG brands
(2) researching pharmacies
(3) researching HCG clinics
(4) researching alternatives
(5) considering service trade
Perhaps if I become the best
testimonial ever, I could enjoy
HCG for less than normal price.
It has to be a fair trade though.
For 30 minutes a day, I could
manage her social media for
9 months.
I could create weekly video
blogs to track my progress.
I am looking back to 2010 ever so briefly
