Months ago I heard about the HCG diet
probably through an internet search.
I signed up for a mailing list that kept
me updated on homopathic HCG,
so it remained something of interest
and something on the back burner
to look into more seriously at a later
point.
It wasn't until a second round of
consideration did I learn that
there was prescription grade HCG.
It at least opened my mind to that
possibility.
Recently out of curiousity, I looked
up HCG in Houston. I found a local
clinic, saw the website, and emailed
the owner to schedule an appointment
for a free consultation.
Donna, the owner, of Equilibrium clinic
was professional, friendly, and honest
over the phone a trifecta I love to observe
in others, as they are traits i would love to
fully embody.
In person, Donna didn't measure up to
who I thought she would be. I can expand
upon that another time.
The day of my consultation with the doctor,
to receive the prescription I also had my
doubts about the clinic.
All that to say, the HCG diet when followed
well produces amazing results.
I calculated that in 8 months (including breaks
between 3 week rounds of HCG) that I could
reach my goal weight, making HCG diet equivalent
to having weight loss surgery.
For the last two days, I have been "loading"
which is just a nice way of saying gorging
myself beyond feeling full, beyond normal
portions, beyond means to consume high
fat foods.
With HCG diet, there is three types of fat
(1) abnormal
(2) quick energy
(3) structural fat.
During the loading days, the quick energy
fat needs to be fully stocked, as the body
taps into the abnormal fat it may periodically
grab from quick energy.
Day 1
Piola for a pizza carbonara
Al Pastor Tacos
Sweet and Sour Chicken
Reese Pieces
Peanuts
Day 2
Fried Eggs
Loads of Butter
4-6 Stripes of Bacon
Bread
Fajitas
Sausage
Pupusas
Chick Fil A
Cupcakes
Marshmallows
Donuts
My stomach hurt like heck,
I didn't know if it was food
poisoning,gas, bloating,
or my body reacting to the
sheer gluttony of the last
two days.
If I was zealous in this aspect
it is because I was warned in
the directions of the diet about
the importance of eating alot
during these loadings days,
to succeed on the diet and not
feel hunger.
It definitely seems counter
intuitive to gorge on carbs
and fats before embarking
on healthy diet of fish, veggies
and fruit.
The HCG diet costs hundreds
of dollars per round with a doctor
and with prescription.
I am shopping around:
(1) researching HCG brands
(2) researching pharmacies
(3) researching HCG clinics
(4) researching alternatives
(5) considering service trade
Perhaps if I become the best
testimonial ever, I could enjoy
HCG for less than normal price.
It has to be a fair trade though.
For 30 minutes a day, I could
manage her social media for
9 months.
I could create weekly video
blogs to track my progress.
